There has never been any doubt about your involvement. But it was never a night for each writer, the group's pieces will be performed on the one night. Even if we are to perform one of your pieces we still have a lot of work to do before September. With all the will in the world you would not have 3 pieces ready for September or a piece that would require a full night in the theatre. The pieces will all be roughly 10 - 15 minutes long and be performed on the same night.
I know you have worked hard and we all have put in a lot of energy, including myself, also this is voluntary for me, I don't get paid for my involvement. And I am determined for it to be the best it can be. I can be available if you want to work on your piece.

The event did not live up to my expectations..
the reception staff were friendly. ,,but the event lacked "Kelt Soul" ...for me
whilst I am a fan of "Samba" (I grew up loving Santana as a teenager & also found the 2nd band played some good stuff, was there NO Irish band good enough to represent the community, considering this is the home of the "words" of Irish spirit...
pragmatocally, I was surprised the cafe did not even have sandwishes or snacks available as I do not temd tp dine before going to an early evening event...
Notably it was the "foreign" guests who started to dance to the music, whilst too many of the "local guests" seemed merely attending "to be seen at the Bloomsday party" ..

I see my colleague (ChRiS) was supposed to join tonight however we have a review to present a prequel of
the "Refugative" and initiative which combines several of Xared's playlets into an evenings performance..

-------------badly organised... no reply from Carlos after i called from nearby M o L I (other side of St Stephens park) about 18.30 , I have organised many such events, but i hung around at the location until about 20h the bar staff knew nothing..
my advice..1 make sure the management KNOW of your event...2...its best to check out the venue before hand and PICK an area to meet at. This place is too big for such a meet up without bar staff knowledge
3 more effective is to meet first at a smaller room/location then move to such a place for dancing

I loved the time of Rafa s REdS no team in the European leagues, NONE wanted to play against us & I went away to Madrid, Milan, Barcelona, Marseille & Istanbul with the lads, great away trips.
and knocking Chelski out of the semis of cups 3 times ! ;)
..I met Rafa, and I went to a presentation he made about tactics after that final and watched his pre season training sessions in Switzerland.. he is under rated by too many Lfc fans and should never have been forced out... his family still live in Liverpool and continue to contribute to the local community & charities,,

any one of my generation KNOWS this has been prevalent in different locations for similar reasons,
